Europe’s development, economic progress and ultimately its sovereignty will depend on robotics. European institutions – both at continental and state levels – need to create the conditions to enable European robotics to thrive. In essence, that is the overarching message of the euRobotics Vienna Statement. Now that the Statement has been published, it’s time for everyone within the euRobotics community to do what they can to spread the message – not for euRobotics but for themselves, for the wider European robotics sector and indeed for the prosperity of Europe as a whole.
Meanwhile, a working group from the euRobotics BoD and the association’s Office team is creating a communication programme to help expand euRobotics’ influence, using the Vienna Statement to spearhead the association’s efforts.
