Real-world environments are unpredictable, and yesterdayโs kickoff of the European Robotics League (ERL) 2026 in Scheveningen proved exactly why benchmarking is so vital. Despite a typical Dutch mix of rain and sun, the spirit of innovation remained undamped. To ensure the safety of the sensitive technical equipment and the best possible testing conditions for the teams, the scheduled practice runs were moved indoors.
