Our call for registration is now closed and we’re thrilled to confirm that 16 international teams will join us to compete in the 2nd edition of our SciRoc Challenge. The full list of our 2021 participating teams can be found here.

Given the year it’s been, and the difficulty and uncertainty around travel and making plans, teams have been offered the choice to participate in the competition in person in Bologna, or remotely. 13 teams are set to join us in Bologna, with a further 3 teams who will compete remotely.

This year the event will also be streamed online via the SciRoc website to ensure remote teams do not miss any of the action. This means our audience can be remote too, although we hope many of you will have the opportunity to come and say hello in Bologna!

This is one the first physical robotics events to take place this year so it is sure to be full of excitement! The competition itself will take place in Palazzo Re Enzo, a beautiful, historical building located in Piazza Maggiore, the central square and heart of Bologna.

We’re finalising the last few details of the event and our teams are ready to go! We can’t wait to see you all (either in person or virtually) in Bologna!
