Robots for Healthy Aging
In the context of the “European Robotics Week 2017” (17.-26. November 2017) an event on the subject of robots in social work takes place on Wednesday, 06. December, from 14:00 to 17:00 in the “Exhibition of the Independent Living Center” at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Robots and assistive technologies for healthy aging will be the focal point of this event.
The development of a robotic shower system within the European HORIZON 2020 research project I-SUPPORT (www.i-support-project.eu) will be in the main focus.
In addition, emotional and social robots such as the seal PARO and the Dinosaur Pleo will be presented. The telepresence robots Giraff, Double and VGO and the two humanoid robots NAO and Pepper will be introduced and possible applications discussed.
Free entry – registration is not required.
