Need for the program
The positive utilization of our youth’s talent requires proper guidance and development. Youth development initiatives are inevitable for achievement of prosperity of our country. Based on this notion an initiative has been taken by E&DC to carry out a series of workshops on “Successful Career Planning”, with a focus on providing youth, a guideline for career assessment and development of required skills set for achieving career goals successfully. In these workshops experts from the industries will be invited to share their knowledge and experience with the students.
Objectives of the program
This course is specifically designed for students, fresh graduates and young professionals. This course will equip the participants with the appropriate skills set required for opting for a right career and attaining a desired job.
This program will assist the aspirants in grooming of their personalities and entering into an appropriate career through developing their skills in various areas like self-awareness, decision-making, goal-setting and establishing a plan of action. The program objectives are as follows:

About Imran Ahmed
Imran Ahmed is a successful entrepreneur, professional speaker and competent consultant. It is his strong passion to facilitate individuals and organizations reaching to their fullest potentials. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of corporate training, teaching, career counseling, martial art, swimming, organizing children’s summer camps and managing educational institutes. He did his MBA in HRM, from Harrods School of Applied and Allied Sciences in 2000 and B.Ed, from Newports Institute of Communications And Economics in 2013. Currently he is enrolled in M.A Mathematics. He also completed a certificate course in acting and direction from Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi. Other than Urdu and English he knows Russian and Persian languages and currently he is learning Arabic.
He has been associated as a trainer with reputed educational, business and government organizations including Canadian High Commission, NIPA, NILAT, Pakistan Customs, PWTI, CIIM, Coca Cola, Workers’ Education Department and many other Pharmaceuticals and Textile related organizations. Some of the workshops and trainings conducted by him include Stress Management, Time Management, Total Success Management and Total Health Management. He has also taught science and commerce subjects to hundreds of students of “O”&”A” level. He has also taught martial arts, swimming and yoga.
As an Entrepreneur, he has extended efforts to different entrepreneurial ventures. He experienced his first entrepreneurial adventure when he was in class seven. He has organized summer camps for children. He has run a center for kids’ counseling. He has a vast experience of managing educational institutions. Presently he is Chief Executive of Education and Development Consultants.
E&DC consists of a team of seasoned professionals trained in the fields of Education, Human Resource Development, Organizational Development and Management Consultancy. E&DC strategies are intended to achieve the developmental objectives at individual and organizational levels.
