Coolest Projects Milano
Bringing students to the programming world in an entertaining way, from an early age. Prepare the ground for tomorrow’s programmers and designers. Take advantage of their curiosity and desire to get involved to direct their creative skills on a road to the concrete and useful future, even for work. Stimulate them to present the value of their work.
These are the objectives set by Coolest Projects Milano, in its second edition, with an even richer offer than last year when it attracted a big audience. The event has many souls:
First of all, the contest for coding projects for students aged 7 to 17 is an opportunity for them to present their creativity on a stage, and to compete for the chance to win the trip to Dublin where they can present their projects at the Coolest Projects International.
The event will be an opportunity for young people who still do not know the coding in Italy, to participate in the numerous laboratories on the same day. In order to disseminate digital culture in schools, Coolest Projects Milan offers a wide range of interactive workshops for teachers of the primary and secondary school.
Speeches on the theme Digital world, future and sustainability” will provide the opportunity to reflect on how the coding and robotics improve people’s lives, protects the environment and represents a chance to get a job in tomorrow’s economy. The novelty of this second edition is the presence of the “Inspiring” area where visitors can admire the numerous applications of the robotics and coding. Autonomous vehicles by the Bicocca University, CoderBot, sustainable mobility by EU JRC, a prototype of a missile by Politecnico di Milano, smart fabrics for the football tricots by Comftech, tires with Pirelli sensors and much more.
