Aperte le iscrizioni alla FLL
Concorso internazionale Competizione Robotica Educativa FIRST® LEGO® League Italia 2019. Iscrizioni aperte dal 9 settembre al 9 dicembre 2019
FIRST® LEGO® League was born in 1998 from the collaboration between LEGO® and FIRST® (the American Association For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and arrived in Italy in 2012 thanks to Fondazione Museo Civico of Rovereto, the Italian Operational Partner. CampuStore is a national technical sponsor.
In 2015 was introduced also FIRST® LEGO® League Junior (which engages children ages 6 to 10).
FIRST® LEGO® League is the most accessible, guided, global robotics competition, helping students and teachers to build a better future together. The program is built around theme-based Challenges to engage children ages 9 to 16 in research, problem solving, coding, and engineering. The foundation of the program is the FIRST Core Values, which emphasize teamwork, discovery, and innovation. Students emerge more confident, excited, and equipped with the skills they need in a changing workforce.
In the world, there are 100 participating nations with over 310’000 participants.
In Italy are involved more than 3’000 participants.
Every year, FIRST® LEGO® League releases a Challenge, which is based on a real-world scientific topic.
Each Challenge has three parts: the Robot Game, the Innovation Project, and the Core Values. Teams of up to ten children, with at least two adult coaches, participate in the Challenge by programming an autonomous robot to score points on a themed playing field (Robot Game), developing a solution to a problem they have identified (Project), all guided by the FIRST Core Values.
