This extraordinary exhibit displays some artistic robots in honor of the Renaissance Italian engineer Janello Torriani. Experienced blacksmith, watchmaker of universal fame, excellent hydraulic engineer, court mathematician and renowned inventor, he was famous in life well beyond his own city walls. He built the most complex machines of the sixteenth century which will finally be exhibited, centuries later.
One robot will be guiding you throughout the exhibit. And you will have the chance to see the robot that was used in the last scene of the movie The Best Offer (Italian: La migliore offerta – entitled Deception in the UK), an Englishlanguage romantic mystery film written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore: Rob Higgs – Humanoid automata/ robot
