3D Ocean:
In the heart of the historical centre of Genoa, Scuola di Robotica and the Cooperativa Il Laboratorio have opened a 3d printing centre. The’ 3d Ocean’ project started here, which aims to create innovative solutions for the recovery and recycling of discarded fishing gear and plastic material from coastal and seabed cleaning activities.
Through this project the recovered plastic material will be transformed into filament for 3D printers through which will be created supports for robotic arts, ROV supports and educational kits for blind people. On November 15, from 10 am to 11 am and from 4 pm to 5 pm, as part of the ABCD orientation festival, the 3D Ocean project will be presented to the public by School of Robotics technicians.
