Robots are no longer just science fiction or complex machines hidden away in high-tech labs and factories—they are quickly becoming a part of our daily lives, transforming how we learn, work, and care for each other. Every November, European Robotics Week (ERW) opens doors across Europe—from research centres and industrial companies to community venues and universities—to show you what robotics truly is and how it shapes your everyday world.

Launched in 2011 by euRobotics, ERW was created when the European robotics community recognized a gap between cutting-edge developments in robotics and public understanding of these technologies. To bridge that divide, ERW was born with a mission: make artificial intelligence and robotics accessible to everyone. Today, it connects universities, research labs, robotics companies, schools, maker-spaces, and more to offer practical, engaging experiences such as open-lab days, hands-on coding workshops, school competitions, and public discussions.

We provide a detailed Organizer’s Handbook and Inspiration Guide (coming soon) filled with activity ideas, possible ERW themes, a marketing and communication toolkit, and a step-by-step event registration process. Whether it’s an open-lab afternoon, a coding workshop, a public panel, or a virtual Q&A, our resources will help bring your event to life. Next to that, our dedicated network of National Coordinators  across participating countries is available and can serve as your primary contact—helping you with:
