Imagine a city where vibrant downtown life intersects with cutting-edge robotics and AI innovation. Picture a forum that not only highlights the latest trends in robotics but also fosters meaningful collaboration and sparks transformative ideas empowering industry, research, and our society as a whole. This is the vision we present as we propose Stuttgart as the host city for the #ERF2025. Stuttgart offers a perfect forum setting. The renowned Liederhalle, located in the city centre and serving as the main venue, creates a sophisticated backdrop for knowledge exchange and networking. For the welcome reception, we plan to continue the innovative food hall concept from Odense to encourage informal interactions and idea generation.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore industrial institutions as well as Fraunhofer Institutes, the University of Stuttgart, Cyber Valley, and the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. These visits will offer valuable insights into pioneering research and market-ready applications. Stuttgart’s automotive heritage has fostered an exceptional ecosystem of automation suppliers. The convergence of academia, research institutions, and industry presents a unique opportunity for collaboration and the exploration of innovative solutions. With over 1,000 industrial projects each year, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA serves as a perfect base for attracting sponsors and delegates beyond euRobotics. We anticipate a significant increase in both sponsorship support and the number of delegates. We are curating a series of site visits to renowned robotic end-users and technology providers.

We are honored to enjoy support from prominent political figures, including the Ministry of Economy. Their endorsement underscores the region’s commitment to advancing robotics and AI. Our experienced team of Chairs includes experts who are specialized in diverse areas ranging from public engagement to the future of work and human-machine interaction, as well as control and industrial robotics, explainable AI and AI for the shop floor, including scientific tracks. Hosting the European Robotics Forum 2025 in Stuttgart will boost synergies between robotics and AI, establishing a robust foundation for future European advancements. We express our gratitude for your consideration and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to contribute to a successful forum.

On behalf of our Chairs and the entire organizing team, we would like to extend our warmest greetings to you.

About the European Robotics Forum

The European Robotics Forum, the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe, started in San Sebastian in 2010 and has grown into a major annual event with many hundreds of attendees every year. This top notch forum covers all aspects and current themes related to the field of robotics. Researchers, engineers, managers, and a growing number of entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and public funding officers from all over Europe come together to discuss technology push and market pull and how innovation in robotics and robotics-related AI can be accelerated.

The European Robotics Forum is an initiative of euRobotics in cooperation with a local co-host. euRobotics aisbl (Association Internationale Sans But Lucratif) is a Brussels based international non-profit association for all stakeholders in European robotics. It aims to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness and to ensure industrial leadership of manufacturers, providers and end-users of robotics technology-based systems and services.
