ERW 2024 Event overview

Central Event 2024

The European Robotics Week (ERW) was conceived at the European Robotics Forum (ERF) 2011 by the desire of the European Robotics community to bring robotics research and development closer to the public and to build the future Robotics Society.

In 2024 European Robotics Week took place from 15 till 24 November 2024 offering one week of various robotics related activities across Europe for the general public, highlighting the growing importance of robotics in a wide variety of application areas and the growing importance of skills in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

The Central event of European Robotics Week took place from 13 till 15 November 2024 in Zaragoza, Spain. The local organizers and euRobotics have established a vibrant 3 day program. 

We have reshaped the central event to make it more attractive to the community by introducing brand new elements in the 2024 edition.

First, the attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the Institutional Event, a carefully designed event that will include the presence of industry, artists and representatives from different governments. This year’s edition will be by Spanish in English to make it glocal.

Second, the AIR2024 Festival which will be the main piece of the central event. More than 10 activities have been organised in collaboration with universities, companies and other educational actors to bring robotics closer to the general public.

Finally, the central event will be continued by the Hisparob’s national conference on the 15th of November attaching European and Spanish events in the same place and week.
