The ERF 2026 Programme Committee and the ERF Scientific Board are inviting researchers, innovators, and robotics enthusiasts to contribute to the 17th European Robotics Forum (ERF), which takes place between 23–27 March 2026 in Stavanger, Norway.
Research on the applications of Robotics and AI to industry is leading to a very fast-growing innovation in Europe. Thus, it is more and more important to foster discussion between researchers and industry to create a synergy that will drive the future of research and industrial innovation.
At the ERF 2024 in Rimini, Italy, an industrial scientific track for strengthening the scientific component of ERF was introduced. Thanks to the success of the scientific track both in 2024 and 2025, it will be continued at ERF 2026.
The scientific track is composed of peer-reviewed papers, which will subsequently be published in a Springer book. To foster the discussion between researcher and industry, the contributions of the scientific track will be presented in an ‘oral’ or a ‘pitch and poster’ format, depending on the content of the paper.
For ERF 2026, the Scientific Track features two subject areas: Robotics and AI for Robotic. You can find all details about the Scientific Track at https://erf2026.eu/scientific-track/
All submissions will undergo single-blind peer review.
Accepted papers will be published in the Springer Proceedings in Advanced Robotics (SPAR), indexed and co-edited by Bruno Siciliano & Oussama Khatib.
Submission deadline: 30 October 2025 (23:59 CET)
Extension: 30th of November 2025 (11:59 PM CET)
Notification of acceptance: 15 December 2025
Final Submission: 15 January 2026
