Still time for free registration for Members fully paid-up for 2022 – but hurry!

Registrations are open and places are filling fast for this year’s showcase event for the European robotics community. And Members who are eligible and who have paid their invoices for 2022 can still receive free registration – but you’ll have to hurry. The Early Bird stage closes at 12 Noon on Tuesday 31st January. Normal rates will then apply until 9th March and that means that everyone then pays to register.

It will be 11 years since ERF last visited Odense, around the time that euRobotics itself was being created. Then and now, Odense was and is a leading hub for robotics. In fact Odense has been through a huge transformation since the previous ERF in this southern Danish city of over 200,000 people.

So it’s no surprise that this year’s flagship event for the European robotics community will be delivered under the chosen theme: ‘Odense revisited – how to build a community for commercial success’. Everything you need to know about ERF 2023 is available on the ERF event website at https://erf2023.sdu.dk/

ERF delegates will quickly come to sense the major presence and influence of the hub’s leading players, with key inputs from SDU, Odense Robotics, the Danish Technological Institute, the Maersk Institute and other major contributors. The hub represents a powerful public/private alliance, with university research and a cluster of companies, supported by the local government Odense Municipality, turning research into business. In short, it’s a community with a common interest in robotics – and a very successful one.

What’s unmistakable is that the whole Odense business and scientific communities and local authorities are working as a team to give ERF the best possible chance of success. In that spirit, it’s no surprise that the Mayor of Odense, Peter Rahbæk Juel, and Universal Robots co-founder Esben Østergaard feature together with ERF Host Christian Schlette in a brand new ERF movie .

Each ERF tries to build on the best of previous editions and then to add even more attractive features. This year, those who register can sign up for added visits to Universal Robots, to  Mobile Industrial Robots and the Danish Technological Institute, not to mention a chance to visit the robotics labs of the University where it all began, namely SDU Robotics

People who come to ERF in Odense should also make sure to join the luxurious ERF 2023 Gala Dinner, served by Michelin-accredited Master Chef Thomas Pasfall. Thomas used to sail with H.R.H. The Queen of Denmark, and he has his own restaurant in central Odense. The Gala Dinner takes place on SDU Campus Square.

There has been huge interest in supporting this year’s ERF in other ways. Many of the sponsor and exhibition packages have been snapped up already. For remaining opportunities see the website for pricing and benefits.   Whatever your personal interest in ERF may be, details about the programme, the venue, the host city, travel and accommodation are all in one place – just visit the ERF 2023 website
