On behalf of the ERF Programme Committee, we invite you to submit your workshop proposal for the 17th edition of the European Robotics Forum, to be held from 24-26 March 2026 in Stavanger, Norway.

Introduction

The European Robotics Forum is the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe, spanning academia, industry and society. It aims to foster communication and knowledge transfer and covers the technology, application and impact of robotics. The ERF provides a space to discuss recent and future advances in robotics in the context of applications, societal impact, ethical and legal considerations. Robotics includes classical aspects such as mechatronics, control, perception, and cognition, as well as current themes like AI and data in relation to robotics.

Based on feedback from previous ERFs, we have revised the programme generation concept in 2025 and further fine-tuned the process for ERF2026. Therefore, it’s important to read the following information carefully as it has changed from previous years.

With this call, we focus on the revised concept for the “classical” ERF Workshops.

Specific calls for the Industrial Scientific track and other elements will be published separately
