The deadlines for the three main euRobotics Awards have now passed. Meanwhile, preparations continue for the final stages of this year’s Awards programmes, which finish live on stage at the euRobotics Awards Ceremony in Stuttgart next month. Last year in Rimini the Georges Giralt PhD Award was presented to Manuel Keppler (DE TU Munich) for his submission: ‘From Under-actuation to Quasi-Full Actuation: A Unifying Control Framework for Rigid and Elastic Joint Robots’.  The Technology Transfer Award went to Loadrunner (intralogistics – picking and navigation) from KION Group and Fraunhofer IML. First place in the newly-renamed Renaud Champion Entrepreneurship Award was awarded to ISOCHRONIC.

There was a further innovation, with the introduction of a new category of recognition, for excellence in sustainability – see separate story in this newsletter.

As a reminder of all of last year’s finalists and the presentations made in Rimini, you can view the edited highlights on the euRobotics YouTube channel via this link to the 2024 euRobotics Awards Ceremony.
