Just a simple reminder here that the latest euRobotics Awards cycle is now turning, with an open Call for Submissions for each of the four Award categories.  Each has its own process and timetable – details and links below – before they all come back together at ERF and the euRobotics Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 25 March 2026. Here are the key deadlines and links for full info about the criteria and the prizes for each of the Awards:

The Georges Giralt PhD Award is to showcase the best PhD theses defended during 2025 in European universities from all areas of robotics.  

For this Award, the first key date to note is the submission deadline: Wednesday 31 December 2025.

Next, the euRobotics Technology Transfer Award celebrates outstanding examples of successful tech transfer collaborations between research and industry in Europe that turn innovative robotic research into real-world products and services. The key deadline for this latest edition will be 23 January when applications must be received. As for what to put in the application, who’s eligible, the format to use and the prize on offer, visit the Tech Transfer Award page on the euRobotics website. 

The Renaud Champion Entrepreneurship Award will be awarded once again to the most promising robotic start-up, as judged by a jury of robotic entrepreneurship pioneers and experts. Everything you need to know and do to enter the Award competition is contained in the Entrepreneurship Award call for applicants This includes key dates and details of financial support for the finalists to enable them to travel to Stavanger and be part of ERF. Deadline for applications is 21 January 2026. 

Finally, you’ll find everything you need to know about the Sustainability Leadership Recognition in Robotics Scheme at the call for the Sustainability Recognition. Here, the first date is hit is the deadline for submitting applications: 8 February 2026.
