In keeping with its name, the SPRINT Robotics World Conference for Inspection & Maintenance Robotics 2025 came and went quickly. This inspection and maintenance robotics showcase event celebrated its 10th anniversary in Amsterdam, the same city where the very first edition was held. There was an euRobotics presence at this year’s event, too, with several member organisations together with euRobotics’ project officer Inge Rehorst and project manager Javier Luque, who took the opportunity to renew connections with existing members and to build relationships with potential new members and event sponsors, too.
Javier explained: “Inge and I attended many of the workshops and visited the exhibition booths. We looked for potential sponsors and exhibitors for our next events, in particular from Norwegian, Dutch and Belgian companies for ERF in Stavanger and our ERL event next year in the Netherlands.
“In addition, we followed-up with some companies that I visited last year when the Sprint Robotics Conference was held in Antwerp. There were some fruitful conversations, too, with well-known people from our community including Jorgina Díaz from Hisparob. In this way we were also able to exchange useful information about our activities for this year’s European Robotics Week.”
