The detail is falling into place for this year’s Focus Event for European Robotics Week (ERW). The event will take place in Tallin, Estonia on 3-4 December at the Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) in collaboration with Robotex International. There are sponsorship opportunities, too. For once, ERW’s high-profile headline activity comes at the end rather than the beginning of the Week, to tie in with the Robotex International Festival which will immediately follow on 5-6 December. ERW-related activities in Tallinn will include both institutional events, with representatives from administration, industry, research centres and academia, and activities open to the general public, with the aim of bringing robotics closer to society as a whole. In keeping with ERW’s traditional areas of interest, this year’s event will spotlight the role of robotics in education, working life and society at large.
