The euRobotics team are making final preparations for their return to Future Labs Live (FLL), which takes place in Basel, Switzerland on 27-28 May.

With an expected 3000 attendees and 200 speakers, FLL is the world’s most diverse, stimulating, and exciting event for the future of all labs. Start-ups, disruptors and innovators from academia, Biotech, Pharma, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, Agricultural, Materials, FMCG, Architects, Planners and many more are invited to help pave the way and share their experiences and vision for the lab of the future.

Within a packed and varied programme euRobotics will be well-represented. Last year’s lab automation white paper authors and presenters Radhika Gudipati (ARIA) and Patrick Courtney (SiLA Consortium) will both chair sessions on day 1 (27 May). The themes will be automation and robotics, and data management, standards and analytics respectively.  Patrick returns to chair the automation and robotics session on day 2.

Our own Secretary General, Reinhard Lafrenz will present on day 2 on the theme: ‘When robots enter the lab: help, hindrance or hype?’ As FLL 2025 draws to a conclusion, a closing panel discussion, featuring euRobotics director Elisabeth Schärtl and chaired by Patrick Courtney, will consider ‘What’s in store for the future of robotics in the lab?’.

Away from the podium, members of the euRobotics Office team will also be actively engaging with participants to spread the word about the association and generally represent the euRobotics community at FLL.
