Humanoids, quadrupeds and robotic arms will be making star appearances in Nancy, France at the end of November. Tying in with European Robotics Week and the IEEE Humanoids 2024 showcase, the AI-enabled robotics network euRobin will be organizing its first ‘coopetition’. This will offer participants three specific challenges. The first ‘industrial’ challenge aims to manipulate objects using a robotic arm, for example by manipulating a voltmeter to measure the voltage in a box.
The second ‘outdoor’ challenge will test the capabilities of drones and legged robots in an outdoor environment.
The third ‘domestic’ challenge will focus on robots capable of interacting in domestic environments by achieving goals such as opening a fridge or placing objects in a drawer.
