Many of us have very positive memories of how well the local ERF host teams have risen to the challenge by delivering excellent ERF events over the years. Since the pandemic, successive hosts have equalled the quality reached by their predecessors. And then they’ve managed to add something extra, distinct and specific to their city. We saw that in Rotterdam, in Odense and earlier this year in Rimini. Next year we have no doubt that the Stuttgart team will rise to the challenge (no pressure…!). The following year it will be Stavanger’s turn. And in 2027…? In fact we don’t yet know where the following ERF will be – but the process has begun. Expressions of interest are invited for bid teams who are willing to host ERF 2027. The deadline for this first stage will be 13th September this year.
