ICRA is celebrating its 40th anniversary and there are strong connections with euRobotics. The landmark International Conference on Robotics and Automation will take place in Rotterdam in September and a highly familiar figure to euRobotics members, Stefano Stramigioli (University of Twente) will be Chair for the latest edition of this well-established conference. Other euRobotics members are also playing their part within the latest ICRA organising committee, notably Wesley Roozing (University of Twente), Aude Billard (EPFL Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne), Bruno Siciliano (University of Naples), Tamim Asfour (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) and Paolo Fiorini from the University of Verona. This autumn, the newsletter will look back on ICRA’s contribution over four decades. Meanwhile, make a diary date for ICRA@40 on 23rd-26th September in Rotterdam.
