The 7th Iberian Robotics Conference will take place at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid on 6-8 November and the organisers have sent out a Call for Papers.

They are open to a wide range of proposals. In their own words: “We invite authors to submit original contributions across all robotics domains, covering industrial robots, autonomous systems, and field and service robots. The conference will discuss modelling and simulation techniques, design methodologies, and practical applications of developed robotic systems. Additionally, we welcome submissions on support technologies integral to robotic systems’ realisation, including sensors and actuators, computer vision and image processing, tactile and haptic devices, control algorithms and architectures, localisation, mapping, navigation, artificial intelligence techniques, and associated economic, ethical, legal, and social considerations. Of particular interest is the exploration of human-robot interaction, which encompasses personal and social robots, medical robots, and exoskeletons, representing an increasingly active and crucial area.”

Accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore as peer-reviewed archival publications. Papers should be submitted via Easychair – contact the conference organisers for more information or assistance.

The key dates are:

Deadline for Paper Submission: 13th July
Notification of Acceptance: 15th September
Final Paper Submission (IEEE PDF Compliance): 10th October
Conference Dates: 6th-8th November
