BoD, TG Coordinators and ERW Central Event all head to northern Germany
euRobotics is getting ready to set up camp later this month in Hannover. On 21 November, the capital city of the German state of Lower Saxony will host a joint meeting of Topic Group coordinators and the euRobotics Board of Directors (BoD). The next day (22 November) the BoD’s monthly meeting will take place. Later that day, the official Opening Ceremony of European Robotics Week (ERW) will be performed in the historic Welfenschloss, seat of the Leibniz University of Hannover.
The Opening Ceremony will be the centrepiece of ERW 2023’s Central Event. If everything goes to plan, the event team hopes to include short video contributions to underline the link between the Central Event and ERW activities elsewhere in Europe. Another planned highlight of the Central Event will be a panel discussion on the theme ‘The Future of Work’. The discussion will include political perspectives as well as voices from the robotics sector. Other highlights of the Hannover events include the Roberta Challenge, a robotics competition for school-age children. Full details of the final programme, registration, sponsors and exhibitors are available at ERW Central Event .
